LA BIBLIOTHIQUE is a  residential project located in Therissos,  an area in Heraklion city centre,  in Crete. It’s a five storey building based on a pilotis which residential program consists of a loft appartment (70 sqm), 8 small appartments (45 sqm) and a bigger apartment (120 sqm) with attic on the fifth  floor. The design of this project aims to a new approach of urban living within the desnse urban fabric of Therissos. 

The inspiration of the synthesis  form of this multistory building comes from a book case that is displayed and distinguishes it self in the monotonus routine form of a multistorey building, offering to the guests privacy, functionality in small spaces, and big outer spaces.
